Halo:Reach is EPIC!

I'm not a fanboy by any stretch of imagination. I enjoy games because they really and truly are good games. Despite this, I still get accused of being biased to the Halo series.

Halo, to me, has always had a very strong story, and a wonderful way of telling it. The play environments have been unique, and the characters memorable. Seriously, who hasn't wanted to be Master Chief!

I was sent a copy of Halo: Reach by my dad, and was very anxious to get in some play time. I finally threw it in late Friday night, and was greeted with what is probably the best intro to a Halo game ever. The graphics are bar-none some of the best in the series, and the action begins from step one.

I will do a full review after I get some more time with the game, but so far, so awesome!

Finally got in some game time this weekend!

Well, after a long hiatus from real game time, I finally got some in. Nothing crazy, just some Dead Space on PS3, and Modern Warfare 2 on 360.

MW 2 was just a few rounds of Spec-Ops co-op with my dad. It was actually a lot of fun. We needed to both clear out some 2-player only missions. For the record, I LOVE to rain bullets from flying vehicles.

I also decided to pick up the original Dead Space again. DS2 is on the way and I want the story fresh in mind. Let me sat, even though I played it already, that game can still give me chills. I really hope the next chapter is as good as this one.

More Time, More Content!

Hey everyone. And by everyone, I mean my loyal 3 followers...

Due to a career adjustment, I'm now driving for an LTL carrier, so I will be home every evening and off on weekends. What this means is that I'll have a lot more time to game and work on the blog.

Also, I'll be starting to work on the audio podcast as well as some video content. You know, the stuff I promised forever ago!

One more thing... I ditched the craptastic iPhone for a Samsung Captivate (Android ftw!). It's much easier to road-blog with. Look for some cool on the fly stuff coming up.

Happy Birthday Mario!

On September 13, 1985, Nintendo introduced us to the game that would bring the most notable character in the gaming world to the mainstream. Super Mario Brothers in the NES console is a game that almost everyone involved in video games today has played for hours on end. We were treated to bottomless pits, breaking bricks, and the idea that shrooms were power food.

Happy 25th birthday Mario, and thank you for the memories!
